I bought this filter to use a second filter when washing and drying the original filter. I also bought it for a second Boss Lite that I found in a neighbor's trash on trash day. In excellent working condition, without filter and battery. I bought one for each device. Now I have Boss Lite on every floor of the house or at each end of the house. With a fluffy dog in the house, the filter compartment needs to be emptied every second of vacuuming. The battery charge is enough for half the house. Having spare batteries in good condition is essential to our cleaning processes. In a dog, daily vacuuming is desirable, always every 2 days. A fresh filter every few weeks helps.
