Review on ๐Ÿ๏ธ Enhance Your Kawasaki KLR600 84-86 with BikeMaster Rear Left Turn Signals and Lenses by Daionte Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not suitable for 2003 KLR650 but can be disassembled and rebuilt by combining old and new parts.

Will not fit 2003 KLR650 but says it fits KLX650R. The threaded connection that holds the turn signal to the bike wasn't long enough to attach it to the bike as other reviews have stated. Luckily the original part was still connected to the bike so I was able to remove the new signal and rebuild with the original hardware. This is not an easy task as the part does not come with an assembly diagram. However, with a little patience and an intuitive mind, you can figure it out, but add a couple of hours to the repair work. This alone can be worth the extra cost of an OEM part. Special note: The original signal mount is a flexible rubber that allows it to flex if you drop the bike or bump it again. This new part is made of hard plastic and is NOT flexible. So if you put force on the new signal light it will break very easily. If you were lucky enough not to rebuild your signal light with the original longer threaded connection, note that this new part does not have flexible movement. I suggest that the seller make it clear which bikes or model years it will or will not fit and provide workaround instructions with an assembly/disassembly diagram. It looks like some reviews are having the exact same issue with KLX models.

Cons
  • Lots of stuff
