Everything went well in the beginning. about 15 machines connected, Z2 became unusable. First it attacked all my 5 cameras and made them immune: even though they responded to pings, they prevented me from logging in and not seeing anything. These are two different camera manufacturers. and three different models. They were so unresponsive that I had to factory reset them all as the reboot had no effect. At least they weren't banned. Then the Amazon Fire TV refused to be part of the Z2 wireless network. Then it got so bad that the Z2 would only connect to the local network, but the same PC with the Z2 console wouldn't connect to Google. .com, amazon.com or any other website on the global web. All of this behavior persisted across many restarts of the Z2. I didn't factory reset the Z2 as it should never have gotten to its current corrupted state and I thought Zyxel might be interested in investigating this but it wasn't. Zyxel just said that the problem is bad hardware and that I should replace it. But of all the electronics I have, there's nothing worse than this Z2. Why should I risk my cameras again? Someone really made a mistake creating a quality product here. I sent it back to amazon. How do I know this is all 100% Z2's fault? previous router, everything works fine and works fine now.
