I really wanted this to work. This brand was even recommended to me by my dog trainer. My dog sometimes barked a lot and not ALWAYS barked. About half the time. I tighten it as he suggested. The prongs are really long and I felt like I would choke my dog if it was a little tighter. I researched how to set the settings. Just in case I did something wrong. I even kept and used it for a while. I experienced it myself, although you didn't expect it. It's a decent shock, even on low settings. The dog was much calmer, but I would have preferred to have something that made more precise corrections with less shock. I have used e-collars in the past and my dogs have done well with them. I tried to get the previous brand I had but it is no longer available. I have had two and to be honest it has worked better with one dog than the other. The only dog this has worked on knows e-collars and doesn't bark when they're on. The other is a younger dog with a high-pitched voice. She knows nothing about electronic collars and it hasn't worked for her. It's very well done. quality wise. I want something different for myself.
