The valve works effectively. Fits perfectly. The plumber was willing to charge $225 to install one, including the item for shutting off my lines, which is a lever that takes a quarter turn to shut off. He said he had a special tool to cut the pipe. I bought one for a few bucks and now I have a special tool and valve!
