so my robot didn't work. After testing so many parts I ordered a new replacement Robovac. My dock showed 7V so I was pretty sure it was the end but the new Robovac started charging on this dock. I assume that there is some kind of handshake between the dock and the robot and after that the power is increased and the battery is charged. But without that it only outputs 7V, which is safer considering kids can touch these points when the robot is vacuuming. Just because your item outputs 7V doesn't mean it's bad, in my case the robot itself is dead. I'm not a fan of this robo but just wanted to point out that there's nothing wrong with a 7V output.
