I used this material to wrap the front of a portable air conditioner. All the furniture in my basement is black or wood grain, so the white air conditioner was really out of place, it was practically glowing. I should start this review by mentioning that I've never boxed anything before. I thought about boxing my laptop a while ago, but being picky about very small details, I always felt that the boxing process would drive me crazy and I would never be happy with the end result. This AC project didn't require nearly as much precision as the laptop packaging, so I was willing to try. The end result was pretty good. I ended up with a few creases on the bottom left edge, but it's almost impossible to see. My main concern was to keep the front of the device smooth and matte black. Mission accomplished. It was pretty easy to work with this film. I was able to take it off and put it back on again and again as I walked down the stairs. I didn't have a squeegee or other tools you need to use, instead I applied it by hand. I didn't use the heater at all. I had about a half inch crease at the bottom so I used tape to secure the bottom edge. Not sure how well it will hold up but since it will be inside I think it should be fine. When it starts to crumble I'll have plenty more to try again. Final Notes: - Dimensions: I don't know what measurement should be 2ft, but this reel absolutely wasn't 2ft in any dimension. I haven't fully unfolded it, but I'm assuming it's a 5 foot size. The roll I received is 3 feet tall. So I'm pretty sure I got a 3x5 foot product. This worked fine, but I was counting on a 2 foot roll since I only had to cut the piece in one direction instead of cutting it in two directions. - Packaging: The outer packaging was a sturdy cardboard box with paper, which offered sufficient protection during shipping. However, there were two very annoying pieces of tape that were used to keep it from unraveling in the packaging. This tape left a slight oily sheen on the matte surface that I didn't notice until I cut and taped the piece. I managed to "buff" the greasy shine with a dry cloth.
