I like that the top of this model is attached with screws instead of clips. And I appreciate the bracelet instead of the usual necklace. Makes me feel like I still excel in this particular fad. For me this is the perfect size, I think the wrist size is average - not skinny and not thick. But if you have a thick wrist, it will not suit you. There's very little flex there, and you actually squeeze it slightly to unhook one side. I didn't take exact measurements, but when I put my hand on my wrist, the thumb and middle finger barely touch. This method served me well when I didn't have accurate measuring tools (may not work for those with long fingers). If you can't even get close to your thumb touching one of your fingers, it's probably too small for you. Nonetheless. Keep in mind that it is not adjustable, so a child's wrist may be too small for it and it may slip off. It seems durable but I'm always afraid of breaking or scratching the glass. This is my first charm holder so I don't know how strong glass usually is. As a precaution, I only wear them if I expect low-risk action. Overall I recommend this item.
