I bought them as a Christmas present. They didn't work. Then I looked at the back of the sticker sheet. There are "instructions" in the pictograms. Let's just say they're not as useful as we'd like. Coming back and reading other reviews, it looks like you charge the stickers under sunlight, wipe them off, then stick them on your bike/helmet. Let's start with the first icon, I think it means that the process should only be started when the temperature of the stickers exceeds 15 degrees Celsius. Then you expose them to the light, erase them, stick them on whatever you want and then.? I think you wait 24 hours. Then? Light them up with a cell phone flashlight OR take a picture of them or WTF. Who knows what the last step is, upload the photo taken in the previous step? As a result, stickers applied as Christmas gifts are not very reflective. Our bikes spend the night in a dark basement. One lives outside on weekdays, the other in the garage. Both commute to work about 45 minutes each way each day. Where I live it's dark for about 3 months of the year for both trips. Duct tape would be great, but I just don't think it's really reflective.
