I don't like leaving a negative review as the first review of a product. But I am disappointed with this desktop bookshelf. First badly packaged. The package was opened upon arrival and the screws fell out of the small plastic bag they were packed in. There were NO instructions included with the kit. There were 2 screw sizes with no indication of which or where to use. Also, holes were drilled in the bamboo pieces, and there were more than needed for assembly; presumably this is because, like in the photos, you can buy a second set if you want to increase the height of the bookcase. In any case. I had to refer to Revain's photos to put this together. I assure you that I assembled it the ONLY way imaginable and there were other holes that didn't line up so couldn't be screwed together and a crooked shelf. It's not because I assembled it incorrectly; it's just badly done. The result is an unstable and unattractive bookshelf with unused holes visible. The price of $31.99 is too high for a self-contained bookshelf with no instructions.
