This turquoise frame arrived very well protected thanks to the packaging. Its joinery produced tight, even corners and its finish was picture perfect. To open it, to fix the painting, one had to turn the rigid, thin clamps; Using the blade of a butter knife would have helped with my nails trimmed short. When I tapped the frame on the table to remove the cardboard inserts, the glass also came out of the edges: the glass was cut so precisely to the frame that it was easy to put back in place. Jar size 8x10, frame edge covers approximately 1/4 inch around perimeter. I printed my image with that lip in mind. Attaching the back was easy, although the clamps remained rigid. The hanging hook seemed too small, but the pictures balanced well on it. . A built in "stand" for desktop use kept the frame off the wall slightly, but it was a gift of unknown future use, so I didn't cut the stand. The recipient liked the frame and the photo. I will definitely buy again.
