I bought this brush because of the generally good reviews, but I had a very different experience. I had an LP that had a lot of pops and noises. First I used a dry brush and there was modest improvement, then I sprayed the record about 3 times with the supplied liquid and used the brush again. The immediate results were terrible: lots of popping and then increasing distortion. The cartridge and needle were covered with thin threads that I believe were the carbon fibers of the brush. There were also threads related to the record itself. I played the record a couple of times and the needle continued to get fouled with threads. I then washed the record in warm water using a good quality 4 inch brush. After washing and drying, there was an incredible improvement over the original condition. I cannot recommend this brush and will be returning it.
