Like many people, I've found that you have to disassemble the nozzle to remove it from the grease fitting and yes it's a little annoying but once you understand that's the case it doesn't matter. Sometimes they're hard to reach and greasy so it's a little tiring, but that's okay. I've seen some that have more zip-off collars, but I haven't used many grease guns and this one seems very good. He was able to force lube through any fittings on my lawn mower that I needed servicing and did a great job. The Revain recommended grease hose I got with it was SUPER tight so I imagine I'll fight removing it when it's empty but that's a fight for another day and I doubt that it is due to the grease gun itself.
