I'm not sure if I didn't read the product description carefully enough, but the laces on these shoes don't work, it's an elastic band with no ties. The velcro helps keep the foot in place but I have a very narrow foot so I still felt like I needed a snugger fit so I swapped out the elastic for real laces. It was a little tricky because the holes aren't designed for regular laces, but it's doable. Overall, I really like the look of these shoes! They are super cute and comfy.
