These are really great and worth (for the price and 3 in my opinion) but they are not securely fastened. For example, metal and wood will fall apart after a few uses. BUT it's easy to fix. Once the pieces come out of the hole, use some Gorilla Glue and load it in there, then pop the metal back into the wood slot and they're stuck from there. Be careful with some fabrics, I personally use them on my rugs and sofas to raise dog hair. That's why I know it's good because I've used other products and then immediately went back to this one and my dogs have a lot more short, coarse coats. In general, it's worth it. One last tip, I usually hold it in a certain way that allows the tool to be a little more efficient so it doesn't fall apart or the gorilla glue rubs off, I'll add a picture to show.
