I am writing a comment not so much to give some new information, but to add reviews to this earphone and draw attention to them. It seems to me that very few people know about Fostex, but in vain. For their money they are very interesting. And there is a lot of information on them on the Internet, mainly in foreign forums. - After some time of use, I decided to add a review. The ear pads from Shure fit perfectly, the panorama became even wider, the bass did not suffer. Isodynamics do not choke even on complex scenes, all frequencies are in their places. The tops are not only detailed, but also very natural. If they are not cut off by the noise reduction on the recording, then there is a soft loop, which is usually lost on other headphones. The sound is very natural, slightly distant from the listener. But for some, this may be a disadvantage. Sometimes you can hear the shortcomings of the recording, which are smoothed out in other ears. Honest sound is not always the most juicy and bright, so it all depends on what you listen to. But that's exactly the sound I was looking for. Still, the classic dynamic emitter initially has many shortcomings that are difficult to fix. Now I really want to listen to electrostats.
