Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Efficient Replacement Pump for Bissell Little Green 1400 1425 - Model 603-5029 by Sandra Allen

Instructions couldn't be found so I went blind. It worked out in the end, thank God! But wait! Just for a while

I was very dissatisfied when I couldn't find an installation video anywhere. So, here's what I found out. You will need small zip ties, several different sized Phillips screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, and a hot glue gun. Remove both tanks from the machine. You will find 4 screws. Take out and set aside. Have small bowls to put the screws in so you don't get confused when ordering replacements. Carefully remove the cover. I wasn't able to remove the switches and indicator light, so carefully support the top so you don't damage the connectors. You will see an engine cover that needs to be removed. First remove the top (4 small screws) and set aside. At both ends you need to remove the screws that attach the case to the base. You will also see some thick rubber rings. They support the engine and block access to the screws to be removed. You will need a longer Phillips screwdriver to do this. Carefully remove the motor from the housing, being careful not to disconnect the cables or hoses. Remove the case and set it aside. Once removed, you can access and remove the pump. To remove the hose you need to cut the tie. I had to disassemble the motor because I couldn't get the bottom hose off the pump. Also, part of the engine was glued to the base. Easily removed with a knife (be careful) After everything is ready you need to drill new holes to connect the motor to the base. Glue new. Replace the tie or ties. Renew housing and rubber bearing. etc. If you have any questions, please email me, I will do my best to reply. Good luck UPDATE: This pump has only worked a handful of times. Was very dissatisfied with it.
