Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Increased Horsepower: 50-State Legal: Compatible with 1986-1993 BMW (320i, 325i, 325iX, 323i)57-0070 by Francisco Russell

This air intake is made for e30 models with six cylinder engines and fits my m20b25 perfectly. The instructions show other options for the m20 engine. This kit does not include a heat shield. The supplied intake pipe brings cold air from the radiator grille area directly to the filter, although no pipe routing specification was used on my engine (build date 10/92). So I "designed" my own best route and how to secure the pipe at each end. Otherwise the installation instructions are excellent and all the necessary hardware is included and of high quality. The MAF sensor adapter is very good, but you will need to remove the studs and use the screws that come with it. Of course, you won't notice a huge difference in horsepower or torque, but the engine gets more air, and the whistling sound under acceleration is invigorating. Acceleration has improved, albeit slightly. Haven't noticed any increase in fuel consumption. That may be because I hit the gas pedal more often to hear that wonderful intake sound. It's not a mod, but the benefits include an engine rebuild and a little more room in the engine bay after removing that huge OE filter.
