I've had the phone for precisely six months. The benefits are well known, therefore I won't go into depth about them; but, the drawbacks are too significant for a phone that costs $50,000. 1. Program opening and closing should be stopped, especially when selecting a card to pay with on Samsung Pay. Closing all open applications is the remedy when a software occasionally freezes. 2. The sides of the screen, which are rounded, have a green tint. There is a pink tinge in the screen's middle. With color balance modification, these flaws can be softened but not entirely eliminated. After a few days of use, you stop seeing this, but Samsung's quality diminishes because a coworker has a S8 without the green and pink hue. 3. Assembly: This flaw aggravates me the most. At the bottom of the phone as opposed to the top, there is a bigger space between the screen and the body. From orbit, it is clear that over time, dirt and dust accumulated there. I received advice to use my phone more carefully from the Samsung service center on Hong Kongskaya (I have never seen such rudeness in any Sony, HTC, Apple service). No phone that I or my family members used had such a subpar build. 4. The fingerprint scanner is idiotic and buggy, failing to function the first time. Not in an ideal place. The fingerprint cannot be reinstalled to fix the issue. 5. The phone without a case is scratched even when handled very carefully. 6. You keep pressing the Bixby button. This function won't be useful until 2022. Such a phone costs far too much money. Though it would be preferable to try to perform better, Samsung is striving to compete more expensively with Apple.
