The only thing I play is some Call of Duty with friends. I was using an old USB headset for communication and they told me that the sound quality was terrible and that my voice always sounded distorted. I didn't like too many cables either, with a cable to the PC for my controller and for my headset, not to mention the uncomfortable ear pads. So I decided to switch to this headset and I'm happy! The sound quality is good, the earpads are comfortable, there's an in-line volume control and mic-mute switch, and if you want you can connect via USB to turn on the lights on the headset (I don't use headlights personally). My friends tell me they hear me a lot clearer with this headset than with my old one. My favorite feature is that I can now connect directly to my controller and the audio device shows up as "Xbox Controller" on my PC. I can keep all my cables nice and tidy.
