This would make a great addition to your tool box. the new one was ok. I noticed this and decided to choose it over other brands. No particular reason, except maybe I'm interested in the mustache. I've been using it for a couple of hours recently to mark/measure wood for picture frames I've been making. Then my 4 year old granddaughter wanted to draw lines with it on some scrap wood I gave her to play with. It quickly became clear that the tool wasn't childproof because she managed to disassemble it and release the spring that holds the ruler against the handle. But all it took was a phone call to Mr. Pen and Eric said he would send me the pen so I could use the tool again. That's good customer service. I thought in the mail today that the pen we lost was in a package from Mr. Pen. I was completely wrong. What was sent to me was a BRAND NEW COMBINED SQUARE. How do you like excellent customer service? As for me, if I need additional products and Mr. Pen has them on his website, I guarantee I will order them.
