my husband wore this when he installed the roof of our house. It worked great. He was perfectly safe even when bound to the ledge. I almost had a heart attack looking at him, but I could clearly see that the harness and tie were holding him down. He said it fits well with no lumps. As far as I could tell, it didn't bother him at all. Would definitely order again.
