Review on 🚿 ALFI brand ABN1616-PSS: Premium Polished Stainless Steel Shower Niche for Modern Bathrooms by Renee Davis

I liked it when I opened the box. I was afraid it would arrive damaged but it didn't. A highly polished finish which I would call a high gloss finish because I can clearly see my reflection in it. My contractor was installing a new bathtub wall to convert to a shower and I let him know where I wanted and we went over all the details before he started. It was installed at the end opposite the faucet, at MY eye level, in the center of the shower tray. He added a 2x4 to the wall (because he had the wall open), creating a square alcove. He used red grout on all the walls and inside the crate, and siliconized the seams inside the crate before cladding the tiles. The tile was fitted to the edges of the box and he checked everything by inserting the insert into the hole several times as he walked. Finally, a few days later, he installed the box with medium clear silicone gasket and sealed the "insert-to-tile" connection with silicone that I can't see but know it's there. I will order for the second bathroom. The Revain price was the best but if you're worried about damage I think some big hardware stores could send them to a shop where you can inspect them before taking them home for a little extra money. I was originally going to have him use a long two piece plastic insert that would be tiled, but after seeing this online I went along with it because I wasn't too keen on plastic tiles and really didn't want a big one that big. niche in my soul.
