Fits my 2004 Toyota Corolla CE with no problems. I had to put 2 thick washers under the 2 bolts of this assembly to have a little more reach to be able to clamp the piece of metal attached to the bottom of the trunk. Most likely, this is not the fault of the manufacturer, most likely the lower part failed due to repeated impacts from the old assembly. If you installed it but won't quite stick or moves away slightly after forcibly pulling the trunklid, slip a pair of washers under each screw. The construction seems to have been successful. I don't expect any problems in the foreseeable future.
