So I installed them on my Yamaha Super Tenere. My goal was to ride cold wind at highway speeds in 30°F or lower conditions. I have to say they work fantastic! I tested them in 38°F without gloves at 85mph for about 40 minutes and they were fine. That being said, I would recommend a lightweight glove. Installation wise I had to remove the mirrors and standard handguards to fit the steering wheel and controls so there was enough room to freely operate all the controls. Speed on the highway more than 80 km / h. The block appeared to be pushed backwards against the front brake lever due to wind resistance, causing the front brake to engage slightly. I solved this problem by making a small aluminum cover to prevent the cover from being pushed into the brake lever. I have tested the protection up to 100mph with good results and no issues. I know not everyone will be able to protect themselves, but if you do, you will be happy with this purchase. I really can't believe I've never had them in winter. I'll post pics of the guard later.
