As the pandemic closed quite a few salons and filled the others that were open, I was forced to learn how to mine does my own nails. I've experimented with acrylics, I just don't have the skill. I just can't find the right ratio of powder and liquid. I also used dip powders which are great for natural nails. I had a hard time blending the top. I switched to polygel. I like that it was easy to sculpt with molds and required a bit of filing. Heals fast. It comes in many colors so you don't have to paint them. Poly gel nails are easy to shape. I had an issue with them lifting/not sticking when I had my nail fixed. BOOOOO! It changed everything! does not apply too much pressure and does not block light curing. You need it!
