I ordered these belts because they said "GENUINE EUREKA". This is NOT Eureka. It is manufactured by Flexaust. The seller claims that Flexaust makes belts for Eureka, so it's the same thing. NOT CORRECT. It should NOT be listed as an original part. Just because Flexaust makes Eureka belts doesn't mean it's genuine. First off, Eureka has discontinued "rubber only" for heavy mesh/strap webbing; similar to the top ends of the radiator hoses. These bands are just rubber. Also, Eureka will most likely require a specific type of rubber with specific hardness and wear resistance properties. I come across these things at work and pull up specs in documents so the companies that make our parts make them the way we want them to be made. About a year ago when our Eureka Airspeed was new my kids accidentally tripped over a sock. that pulled into the brush and"burned the belt". I went to the store, bought a generic to keep myself going, went to the store and found two straps that matched the vacuum cleaner. Called Yuri's tech support. I've been told that both the correct one and the reinforced one, which costs a little more, are better and last longer. He also said that Eureka is phasing out the simple rubber belt. Tech support was right, the reinforced belt held up to multiple socks, shirts, towels, etc. and "didn't burn out". Although it smelled burnt and we immediately turned off the vacuum cleaner; Then pull out the object that blocked the roller. I installed another replacement belt in our second Airspeed about 4 months ago and wanted belts to replace these belts as the belt gets old even with proper use. The belt of the second vacuum cleaner lasted about 7 months. If you're really good at not accidentally sucking up the edge of your sofa cover, socks, etc., this belt will work for you, but it's NOT a "real" Eureka belt. That's why I only gave this part and the seller 1 star.
