Unlike most people who buy these stones (or others of the same size), I know what two inches is. So it came as no surprise when the 2 inch stones I ordered turned out to be real. two inches long. The size is clearly stated in the description AND in the pictures, plus anyone who really thought they were getting full size bars for that price has bigger issues than their inability to read. These are compact, pocket-sized sharpeners/buffing stones. They are exactly as advertised and do their job exactly as they should. Sure, a full-size stone is easier to use, but it's not intended to replace a large sharpening stone. They're designed to be kept in your pocket or small gear bag while you're on the go or in the field - something to sharpen quickly or to keep you going until you get back to your later stones. You don't want to carry a heavy 20cm sharpening stone in your pocket, so buy one. because of the way they are cut and shaped. There is an odd mark on my agate side that is actually a natural part of the stone it was originally carved from. It doesn't affect anything other than appearance but since people aren't very smart I thought I'd mention it in this review so people know that not every agate looks perfect and these spots do happen. I ordered a 400/800. Grinding stone, as well as grinding or polishing stone with a grit of 3-4000 / 8-10000. They came in a plastic case with a nice carrying case, which is nice. As for using stones, they work. There is nothing more to say about the whetstone. It either works or it doesn't, and they work fine, no problem. No cracks, no abrasions; they are what they should be. I recommend these stones to anyone who does a lot of pocket knife sharpening, but if you're expecting a full-size stone, don't blame the company or the stones for not understanding what you're reading. .
