Review on DOLOPL Filters Disposable Natural Unbleached Household Supplies in Paper & Plastic by Jason Reed

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Works except for one.

My first coffee I tried with this filter broke in the corner. Thing is, I pour water like a Japanese maid when I make coffee. (Pour hot water from a container with a spout capable of delivering a THIN stream of water; watch the stream of water carefully as you pour; evenly saturate the ground coffee by pouring out in a circular motion; be patient throughout the process the water doesn't creep very high in a cone.) My impression of the paper these filters are made of is: paper towels for public toilets. SO brown paper. refute me? Before trying these paper filters, I had an open mind. Having been baffled by poor quality coffee filters in the past, I could foresee the problem. When inspecting, if you check the paper beforehand, you can clearly identify the corner that will break. I think the crimping tool(s) aren't doing their job properly, so the crimping process is another reason besides the poor paper quality. If you see the photos I posted with this review, those holes in the corner? These holes were on every sheet of filter paper I bothered to check and there were about 20 of them.
