Plain Push-In Fittings
These push-in fittings are much easier to install than expansion valve fittings or compression fittings, especially if you're working on an existing pipe that you can't immediately lower to the ground for installation. These fittings also have the advantage of rotating on the pipe; Unlike other fittings, you do not have to worry about the exact alignment during installation. It's also a lot easier to remove and reuse these fittings if the need arises for whatever reason. (Removal requires a simple, inexpensive plastic tool.)
