This is a great phone mount that fits my truck perfectly and keeps my phone in a comfortable place to view my navigation app. I've tried a phone mount that snaps into an air vent, but I live in a rural area where there are sometimes bumps, the vents still move even with the phone attached, and finally vibration can cause the Phone mount moved. to me. Phones are expensive, car mounts are not. This mount has an adhesive pad and also snaps between the two edges of a standard truck frame. The advantages of this phone mount are that the phone is no longer attached to your vehicle's air vent and the phone no longer blocks the air vent joint. Inserting a phone is easy. The only downside, which isn't really a problem for me, is that the mount is designed for use in portrait mode rather than landscape mode, but I find that navigation apps should be viewed in portrait mode to better see road conditions. Use of the larger screen length (resolution) in portrait format. This is an affordable solution and I recommend it as a budget solution.
