Lately I've been keeping an eye on laptops and Chromebooks for something easy to carry, something easy to take with me in certain business situations, when I need to smash my 19 pound laptop. it's just not practical. I kept running into an issue/issue/bug and thought maybe an Android tablet would work. After looking around, I decided that a Galaxy Tab S7 with a keyboard/touchpad cover would be perfect, especially considering how far Samsung DeX has come in making a tablet a desktop experience. To connect via TeamViewer to my main machine for the demo software still under development on a big screen, I looked for a USB-C dongle with HDMI, USB-C power delivery (to charge the tablet) and a regular one USB port in case I wanted to use an external mouse instead of a touchpad. I stumbled across this device, read the reviews, looked at the specs and thought it would be a good buy. I was right! It fits my needs perfectly, looks good, feels premium, comes with a small carry case and (most importantly) - it just worked as soon as I plugged it in. I didn't have to fiddle with any settings. or run a weird sequence of events to make things work; Just plug in the device and dumb dumb boom! I haven't had this device in a very long time so can't speak to durability just yet but it is a solid state device - and given the build quality seems to be I would hazard a guess that the machine isn't abused it will surely take a long time.
