Decided to try these after my previous holes closed due to metal reaction and needed healing. I doubted the "painless" comments and got 4 piercings in a row with relatively little pain after the initial "just do it". I don't think the metal piercing itself caused any pain at all, it was probably a small pinching plastic before I let it out. A bit uncomfortable afterwards, of course, but 100% less painful than gun and needle methods. Great value for money as I don't know of any professional place to do 4 piercings for only £10. The rivets appear to be of good quality, but the plastic easily breaks afterwards. I had to fiddle with the plastic inside a bit before it came loose, but it took seconds and wasn't difficult/painful. We recommend. Align, hold, and then let go. The only problem is that now I want to make more of these!
