Cute decoration but won't last without a tip
These are really cute plastic crabs. However, they are made of very light plastic and won't hold a pen without tipping over. They can hold a light pencil, but the slightest blow can knock it over. Their weight is poorly balanced, and pretty much anything you put in the claw will tip it forward. I think if you stick them on a heavy base they will perform the desired function. But for the price they should have worked without modification.
