I always ignore reports that I'm not using genuine HP parts. Yes, thanks printer. I know. I bought it! I bought two packs of this brand of toner for my HP p1006 in mid to late 2018. I just replaced the cartridge yesterday (April 2020). I get good crisp dark copies. No smudging or fading. It's true that when toner runs out, faded streaks appear. You can take the cartridge out, give it a few shakes, and it will run for a few more pages. Then you can just swap. You saved an insane amount of money on the HP brand. Oh yeah I gifted my p1006 to my dad and now I use an HP 1102w and you know what. it fits and works in it too! Good.
