It's like putting on compression stockings, but staying in is good and the kite look is good.
My son loves his kite socks. They are very difficult to put on (like compression stockings) but one day they hold his pads in place and stay on his feet. I ordered the right size, they fit his foot well when worn. Next time I'll probably try another brand to see if they're easier to put on than these.
