Review on πŸ”‡ PAC SNI-1 Noise Isolator: The Perfect Solution for Noise Reduction – 1 Count by Chris Drury

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great! good for noise filter

I installed a Boss BV938NV head unit in a 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT and replaced the factory REC head unit but kept the factory amp. I used an RCA adapter to connect the iPod to the AUX inputs and routed the cable through the tunnel to the center bay, where I powered the iPod from the 12V jack in the bay. The unit was nice and quiet except for the aux input from the iPod which gave me 3 different noises: a high pitched howl when nothing was on, another howl from my HID headlight ballasts and another engine/alternator noise. After spending a lot of time rewiring and playing with chokes and grounds I bought this as a last resort. I connected it to the head unit according to the instructions. Result? dead silence. There was no need to attach the supplied grounding wires. I wish I could start with that. It would save me a few hours over a few days and a lot of frustration. It's only ten dollars. Give it a try and maybe save yourself hours.
