Great mouse pad for FPS competitions. Unlike the Steelseries Qck series, the Zowie G-SR is wider than it is tall, which makes sense since you tend to use horizontal rather than vertical movement in FPS games. The stitched edges are a really nice feature that adds to the durability of the pieces. I've had mine for over a year now and the logo has started to fray but the edges are still intact due to the stitching. The only problem I had was slipping and it never straightened out. Now people online will say it's more of a slow mouse pad like Control and I agree to a certain extent but as I used it I noticed that it depends on what mouse I was using. For example, I found it fairly smooth with my Ninox Venator, but felt slower with my Logitech G403. I don't know if it was the mouse leg material or the size/weight difference, but it wasn't. It never flattens out either! After a year of use, washing, laying out books, my mouse pad didn't straighten out. The sides never stay level with the table and curl up as if it has just been unrolled. Overall, this mouse pad is great and used by many professional and amateur gamers alike.
