I bought it for two reasons. First, I wanted a footstool on my desk while I work. Second, I needed storage for cords and other debris to keep my desk clean. Well, it definitely works. The stool is flat but easy to assemble; Just slide in the bottom plate and you're done. When assembled, the pouf is quite durable. I've filled it with all the computer stuff I don't need to see on my desk all the time. The only downside is that some of the fabric is loose or not glued properly and the sides of the stool are not padded. However, the top is well padded. And while I certainly wouldn't use it as a chair or a walking stool, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small ottoman with limited storage and comfort.
