Perfect! Red is perfect for a 1994 Silverado

This is a well made, quality replacement that made the installation of my second radio easier. Looks better than factory. I bought it in red and it goes perfectly with my 1994 Silverado. It even looks better than the original as the texturing runs around the vents. Couldn't be happier. It's slightly different from the picture in that the radio's hole is wide open (it doesn't have "button" holes. That's good. Bend the metal tabs so it grips the frame for a tight fit. Install you the vent wire clamp lug: when reinstalling your original vents in this new unit remember that the vent clips need to be reinstalled first vent in the right place and then think you go back and plug in the clamp wire - that doesn't work and vent hole together into the slot. The fit will be very snug until you do not acutely use pliers to insert the ends of the wires into the holes of the connector. You will need to carefully insert the ends of the clamp wires into each hole - skip DO NOT do this step Also the bottom clips of the original part will need to be removed from the original part and fitted to a new one - ATTENTION: these clips have notches , which will cause them to snag in the plastic, so you will need a very small screwdriver to carefully pry the notches out of the plastic and remove these from the original dashboard part. The new block is PERFECT dimensions so just slide these clamps over the new one. The wiring harness is well made and the bay element (black) is also well made.
