Received the fan today. We collected the fan, turned on the fan and there was a strange smell. We turned off the fan and unplugged it. The engine was hot. I worry about what would happen if we left the fan on and went shopping. Could it have caused a fire? I sincerely thank Revane for responding quickly to my concerns. I would not have left a star but I had to or my review would not have gone through. There may be a fan failure during fan assembly. . . Be aware as soon as your fan arrives. . . You might not want to leave it on when you're not at home. Disappointed customer!
