Review on 🦴 Axis Scientific Removable Assemble Skeleton: Enhance Anatomy Studies with Ease! by Chef Deane

I study physical therapy. I bought this model thinking it would be a handy tool to retain my knowledge of muscle origin and attachment and maybe help me learn arthrokinematics. I was quickly disappointed because the second muscle on the list was mislabeled. I know from my textbooks and real body autopsies that the pectoralis minor is inserted into the coracoid process. I haven't gone through all the other muscles yet looking for mistakes, but I think I need to take the time to create my own guide to this skeleton and paint/repaint it as needed. I may update this review if I find more errors. Very uncomfortable. Some other issues: the joints in the arms and legs are overgrown, the bony markers aren't symmetrical in places, and the whole thing tilts and wobbles. Update 2/3/19: Axis Scientific contacted me and gave me some options. I decided to keep the skeleton and wrote about 2/3 of the new Origin/Insert guide with errors marked. Almost all muscles work incorrectly in at least one of three ways: 1. The origin or insertion is incorrect.2. The origin or insertion is not marked at all.3. Two different numbers are used. One to start and one to insert. I will share my updated guide with Axis Scientific in hopes of improving the product. I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 2 stars because of the good customer service.
