Nylon is NOT BIODEGRADABLE!

The bristles on these brushes are VERY hard, not ideal if you have sensitive teeth/gums FYI. However, they do their job differently and are comparable to other bamboo brushes on the market. I'm glad they come in a pack of 8 for half the price of other 4 toothbrushes. But I'm not sure why the manufacturer lies to customers and says bristles are compostable. Nylon is made of plastic and is NOT BIODEGRADABLE! Even if it decomposes, it's not good for the environment. PLEASE dispose of the bristles properly and do not compost!
