Very strong. I used them to push down the shower curtain.
Ideal for anything that needs a strong magnet. So strong that I have a really hard time separating 2 of them without a plastic spacer in between. I used the included tape to attach 3 to the outside of my curtain expecting it wouldn't hold. I did and still do. Note the safety instructions in the location description. There were no safety tips in the package. They can pinch you easily. I don't think you need to worry about someone as big as him swallowing it. Have fun shopping!
