For some reason lately I've been sweating all the time (it's not menopause!) and I'm having hot flashes. It's so bad that I can't put on my makeup in the morning so I don't start sweating. My face and head sweat the most - I walk up the stairs or something and the sweat literally starts dripping from my hair - it's really awful! These fans are real lifesavers. I can wear them when I put on makeup and my face doesn't sweat. You have 3 settings from a gentle breeze to a strong fan setting that blows air straight in your face. I'm not sure what the function of the lights is, but I think it's pretty cool to have changing LEDs right in front of your face. The fan is the best part, but seriously, if you get hot flashes or sweat a lot and don't mind looking like a jerk, then this is for you!
