I should have known it would be a cheap monitor. But at the time I was desperate for a replacement main monitor. There are a lot of "grey-white" spots on the bottom that can reach the center of the screen depending on the viewing angle, as well as some "black and bluish bleeding" on the top. No settings help minimize it. My advice is if like me you are on a budget and in dire need of a spare main monitor. Save money. Yes it will hurt but buying this monitor is a mistake I regret. And since I can't drive, I can't get my money back. Buy something for (if not more than) $100. Don't make my mistake. I know it sucks, but it's better than dealing with that ridiculous light bleeding. This monitor shouldn't even be listed until Acer fixes it. I don't neglect Acer as I have been buying monitors from them for many, many years. Slight bleeding from this is unacceptable, but as the saying goes, what you pay for is what you get. So don't pay for it. Don't even think about paying for it. Save and get the best Acer.
