I'm an amateur. I tattooed my eyebrows, bumped my hand. I did them professionally many years ago. The cosmetic ink was lighter than I wanted (perhaps the artist had limited experience with my milk chocolate ink) and faded about 80% after three years. I believe that nobody is as interested in the results you want as you are. I did a lot of research, watched a few videos and dug into them. The original ink (different brand) left bluish casts. I think the mascara that has this perfect true black on top made the brows look more natural than if it was just a tone (I also tried applying a pattern mimicking individual hairs). I am happy with the results.
