I hate wrapping paper that tears when cut, which absolutely doesn't happen. You may have fairly dull scissors, but you'll still get a nice, even cut line on the wrapping paper. Durability is definitely what sells me about this material. It also comes with those grid lines which are useful when cutting paper, but I wouldn't mind if they were a little darker so my aging eyesight can see better while wrapping this stuff in the dark of winter. The actual drawings on the paper are also simple and classic, not over the top that much of that "holiday" paper can get into. Above all good and nothing is wasted on tears or breaks.
