Only buy it for someone you don't like.

The chair idea is great, it conforms to most of the basic ideas you would like to see. It has a lockable back (doesn't work), a mesh back (very comfortable), a mesh seat which at first glance looks very comfortable (not after sitting on it for a while). The mesh folds up part of the chair, as well as a ring of hard plastic under the edge of the seat, creating the effect of a toilet seat. Everything in the middle falls well below the edge of the seat. Imagine sitting on a toilet seat, the 2 inch wide strip is so far apart that you keep falling off, that's the experience of sitting on that seat. The back is very comfortable. I really liked the lumbar support areas, this is where this seat really shines, the only problem is that it won't lock in place unless you fiddle with it for a while (that's about 1 hour after assembly). For reference, I'm 6 feet tall. 220 pounds. the chair fits my body, as an ergo should say, they just didn't do every step of the production and quality control well. I would recommend this chair to the pesky person in the office that you don't like but still feel like playing around with. You can deny that you know how awful hindsight recommendation is when they put a product together and see what they did to themselves. Luckily I bought it from Amazon so I can easily return it. Pros: Easy assembly, comfortable armrests, just the right height for me. CONS: All other aspects of the chair.
