I saw all these fun water balloon sensory activities on Pinterest so I thought I'd give it a try. We've played them in other places, but I've never played them at home. Why doesn't anyone ever talk about cleaning them?!?! I tried draining all the water hoping they would dry out and go back to their small size. nope I left them in the sun for a few days. They never dried up. The only pearl I put in it was dry. Then they crushed each other on deck. It turned into a slimy film all over my deck. I had to wash the deck to remove the film. At some point I realized that there is no way to reuse them or dispose of them carefully. I pour the whole slimy mixture into a garbage bag and throw it away. It's all fun and games until it's time to clean up.
